Wide Open Spaces

Breathing the fresh, spring air with no one around to share or cross contaminate.

Friendly neighbors spaced out by 5 acres offer a wave from afar.

Walking the gravel road in silence and peace to witness the nightly sunset.

Recreating a good ole fashioned Wisconsin fish fry from fish caught this week on an empty, deserted lake.

Cross country skiing more than six feet apart from a friend on a ski trail where there are more signs of spring than snow.

A red tent set up in the basement where the kids have their own form of quarantine fun.

A blacktop driveway where bikes roll around the and swerve the puddles.

Wide open possibilities.

  2. I so wish I lived on a farm during this time. I would kill for the opportunity to run around and explore and see no one within a 5 km radius.

  3. Nice list of things to do! I’m glad you’re getting some fresh air while being socially responsible. I’m grateful we live here with lots of wide open spaces instead of a crowded city!
